[PADA: Most of us neophyte devotees are just not ready for renounced life. Its just the way it is. Denying that our devotee's mundane attractions still exist -- well -- it is just not always helping a whole lot, this is pretty much what the article above says. And the points are well taken. Especially now that the temple life has been devastated, its harder than ever for people to become renounced. In any event, honesty is the best policy, agreed. The only solution according to Lord Chaitanya is: to think of Radha and Krishna, at least that is our best chance for help. But generally speaking, that is not going to happen all of a sudden. Its a gradual process, and sometimes, it can take many lifetimes and many trials and errors. The main thing is to keep trying, do not get discouraged, and hope for the mercy of the Lord. ys pd]
