Gaurangasundar Dasa: Jahnava devi Mataji had a very nice program at her nama hatta in London last Sunday. 9 new people who had purchased the orignal BHAGAVAT GITA AS IT IS from her attended the program.Few have started to chant after reading the GITA.They asked many questions, had nice prasadam, had nice kirtanas and all of them did 3 rounds of Japa. More people expected next Sunday. JAI PRABHUPADA.

Gaurangasundar Dasa: Arkady Narotnev prabhu president of one of Iskcon inc affiliated centers in Moscow donates 1000$ for the KURSK,RUSSIAN ISKCON INC/PRABHUPADANUGA FESTIVAL. ISKCON, Inc. will like to thank Bharadvaja Prabhu, one of the original Russian devotees from 1970s, to agree to host the first ever Prabhupadanuga festival, with all his 10 centers which are now affiliated to ISKCON, Inc. The festival is at their beautiful temple of Sri Sri Prhalad Narsimha from 15th to 18th of November. All devotees are welcome. There are no fees for the festival.

Mission of Prabhupada in USSR was started from Prabhupada's visit to Moscow in 1971, so, His first initiated disciple - Sriman Ananda Shanti prabhu appeared there. That hard time, up to 1989, all first Hare Krishna followers were persecuted and were in prison Bharadvaj prabhu was sent to prison ~10 times from 1979 to 1989.Bharadvaj prabhu was the secretary of Sriman Ananda Shanti prabhu.
