Yes! (apa) ISKCON's Bhakti Caru Swami is finally getting it! (sort of at least)

PADA: SG is promoting our idea, that we are taking shelter of Srila Prabhupada through his vani, in his books. That’s essentially what we have been preaching since 1978. So that means our idea is being incorporated in many places, including ISKCON, albeit gradually.

I have also noted recently that Bhakti Caru swami is preaching a very similar idea to ours, that we all need to focus on Srila Prabhupada through his vani — books. That is a huge change from what BCS was preaching in the 1990s, when he was saying our “vani seva of the pure devotee” idea is “the Christian idea” because we have no “living body” to worship in our process.

He was saying then that we need to all worship a living body, which is chock full of stools and so on. He was saying that worship of a live body is the only way to reach Krishna, except, — Krishna never said he wanted people to worship material bodies, full of stools and etc. to attain Him? Where does He say that?

“If you want to attain Me, worship a bucket of manure”?

And so we defeated BCS by our saying, his idea is foolish and wrong, and he is finally realizing that himself, although it took us 30 years to pound that idea into his head.

Amazing, we had to preach to BCS for 30 years — before he finally started to get it, worship of a bucket of manure, is not the Gaudiya Vaishnava process? He is slower than a pack of turtles, 30 years before he understood that God is not attained by worship of a bucket of manure?

So he has changed to more or less our idea. He was saying that worship of someone like Jesus is bogus because we need to worship his program, worship of a bag of blood, pus, stools and mucous, instead of pure devotees. BCS has been totally in the bodily concept of life. BCS has been in MUCH WORSE illusion than the ordinary materialists, since even the materialists do not worship a bag of “live” stools, they worship Jesus. They are way more advanced than BCS, they never worship a bag of manure, ever.

Nope, they have been much more advanced than BCS, they worship Jesus. In fact, no religion one earth agrees with BCS 1990s idea — that we need to worship a living bucket of manure to attain Godhead? This is total foolishness, and he even agrees now, so he is preaching our idea to a large extent. Very good, that means our preaching works, its finally sinking in — even into BCS, albeit it took us 30 years of pounding the idea into his very dull brain before he could figure this out. Yes, BCS living bucket of manure pooja idea is fading out, and our idea is being accepted and incorporated, very nice! ys pd

  1. It is certainly a good sign that one of the prominent personalities of Iskcon is realizing (or, perhaps I should say admitting) that His Divine Grace, Srila Prabhupada is the sole Acarya of Iskcon to whom all of them, great souls, indeed (Note: let us not forget, that despite what their actual spiritual situation is or have been, they did at some point must have had some degree of sincerity in their search for the Absolute Truth, otherwise, there's no way they would've had the rare fortune of even coming across such a pure and exalted devotee of the Lord as is Srila Prabhupada, what to speak of being initiated by him. Hence, whether we like it or not, according to shastra, they are actually mahatmas) owe whatever position they may have had, or are still enjoying, to their spiritual master's material arrangement for their advancement in pure devotion to God known as, The International Society For Krsna Consciousness (e.g., Iskcon). Let's hope others, anassumigly, will follow as well. My humble obeisances to all. Jai Srila Prabhupada! Hare Krsna!

"Even if one commits the most abominable action, if he is engaged in devotional service he is to be considered saintly because he is properly situated in his determination". B.Gita 9.30

    (Note:
For an elaborate explanation to this verse please refer to Srila Prabhupada's purport).

My humble obeisances to all. All glories to patita-pavana Sri Sri Goura-Nitai! All Glories to His Divine Grace, Srila Prabhupada!

  3. This verse applies to sincere neophytes, and does not apply to people like BCS, people who are promoting falsely posing as acharyas, when they are not able to meet the standards of acharyas. These false gurus are "destined for the most obnoxious regions." Plain and simple, that is where they go, and the key is tossed out, so they stay there for a long duration of time.

The above verse applies to sincere neophytes, not to people like the Bhakti Caru swami's molester messiah's guru program -- whose program has been forcing children to worship pedophiles as their acharyas, and has been beating and killing vaishnavas etc.

BCS was voted in by the same people who re-instated Bhavananda as an acharya. This is very sinful, no one is allowed to have homosexual pedophiles placed into a vyasasana, this is not forgiven, its the mad elephant offense, it is not forgiven.

Of course BCS was nowhere to be found when all this was going on either: http://youtu.be/DqYjk3xNWJ4

BCS has not just been totally AWOL on all these issues, he has propped up the people causing all these troubles. He has supported the corruption, so he is implicated in all their reactions (like going to the most obnoxious regions), which are, as we said earlier, where you have to go (to the lowest regions) for supporting false acharyas. There is also no way for BCS to begin to account for these offenses now anyway. He could not even apologize if he wanted to, since most of the Prabhupada devotees are gone, and a huge amount of them are -- dead. Even if BCS wanted to apologize, he could not, they are not here anymore. The only way to remedy these offenses is to ask forgiveness from the offended, he cannot do so, they are gone. That means he is stuck with all these horrific reactions, and he will take that with him at the time of death. He will not be forgiven, false gurus are not forgiven, ONLY innocent neophytes are. ys pd

  4. Resentment is understandable. I was there. I know what it feels like to be let down by someone you thought was a genuine representative of the Guru-Parampara, following the line of the God-sent Acarya, Srila Prabhupada. However, I think that one's efforts should be focused in trying to remain faithful to Srila Prabhupada and his original rendering of the Vedic Literatures and study them thoroughly, not to chalenge or expose the "wrong doings" of anyone but, rather, to rise yourself to that platform whereby you'll obtain your eternal svarupa-sidha. Once there, there will be no more mundane controversies and finaly you'll find yourself joyfully engaged in the eternal amorous pastimes of their Supreme Lordships, Sri sri Radha-Krshna. That's what Srila Prabhupada came here for. So, please, let our own hearts be healed, and let others deal with their own. My humble obeisances to all. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada! Hare Krsna!

  5. This is nice attitude! But we shouldnt forget, in every preface of Bhagvad-gita, distributed all over the world, it is stated: “Our Krishna consciousness movement is genuine, historically authorized, natural and transcendental due to its being based on Bhagavad-Gita As It Is. It is gradually becoming the most popular movement in the entire world, especially amongst the younger generation. It is becoming more and more interesting to the older generation also. Older gentlemen are becoming interested, so much so that the fathers and grandfathers of my disciples are encouraging us by becoming life members of our great society, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.”
(Preface, Bhagavad-gita As It Is, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada).

So before they even begin to read the book, they read that ISKCON is “genuine”, “authorised”, “transcendental”, and a “great society”. The first thing I would want to do after reading this, is to seek out this “great society” ISKCON, promoted as it is by Srila Prabhupada himself, which is easy to do even if there are no contact details for ISKCON in the book. Having then come into contact with ISKCON, which has been completely endorsed by Srila Prabhupada, I will surrender my life fully. Only in doing so I will get cheated by bogus gurus, have my life ruined, and tragically BLAME SRILA PRABHUPADA for this, because HE is the one who directed us to ISKCON by telling us that it is completely bona fide, and consequently we will give up Krishna consciousness altogether – which sadly has been the fate of many. And this is just the second paragraph of the Preface. The more they read, and the more books we distribute, the more the above scenario will be repeated. Now it will be argued that some people will not contact ISKCON. Yes, but this will be despite the books, not because of them. Srila Prabhupada promotes ISKCON throughout his books – that was part of the purpose of the books, and indeed it says “Founder-Acarya of ISKCON” just on every cover. Therefore, after reading a book, to seek out ISKCON will be the default position.

And remember, there is no BTP, no TFO, no IRM, because this is a ‘criticism-free’ world. So immediately we come to the crux of our dilemma. If ISKCON is deviating, you cannot promote it, nor can you ignore it, you have to FIX it.
