2. I was their first Hare Krishna contact, 1½ years later, when I was living in the ISKCON Detroit devotee community.
3. I convinced Mr. Turley to take the case.
4. I never had the slightest doubt that the lawsuit was Kṛṣṇa’s desire.
5. I was fully prepared to testify in court without any fear because I had absolutely nothing to hide.
6. I am grateful that the 2nd generation was finally able to see clearly that they were simply victimized as helpless children so that they could finally stop feeling guilty. As a result, the 2nd generation suicides immediately dropped practically to nil!

This was the problem, everyone else was worried about the money, not the children.
ReplyDeleteThese devotees were simply overburdened and couldnt handle it. They were poor devils who made mistakes because they didn't know better. They didnt even figure to call for help. Prabhupada wanted these children to live and grow up in the temple. Unfortunately this didn't work. There was no money to buy everything and there were no skilled educationalist to manage so many children. Parents of these children were going on travelling Sankirtan to collect. Detroit had 800 children! So who is to blame? Of course it was right to start this court case. It is probably one of the darkest chapters of ISKCON history. Good news is it was so horrible that it probably won't happen again.

We didn't worried about the laxmi, Dear Pratyatosa Prabhu, because the laxmi was meant for the ex Gurukuli's.
I asked You Dear Prabhu if BCS gaveYou the laxmi we collected for the Turley case. If we didn't care for the ex gurukulis, why should we donate? Think about it Dear Prabhu.

Yes prabhu, almost everyone was happy when the suicides went down except, the Sanat / Mukunda / Prahlad (UK) / Pancali dasi / Nicklaus Evans (NZ) group, whose spokesman Sanat wrote that he wanted to see the molested children die in "a blood bath in Dallas," and they wanted to have these kulis "killed and chopped up and fed to dogs," and they are infuriated that these children are alive even.

Lord Krsna is totally independed, no tiny little spiritual spark can give Him orders, and He knows everything, be sure of it.

Thanks you are correct, This problem also happened in the Catholic church, -- children were victimized, repressed, and there were suicides. Yep, its apparently also happened when Evangelical priests molested people, its a problem all over. We agree, this has been a pattern in other religions and cultures.

That's what some ex-Catholic victims testified, they were repressed and told to keep quiet not only by the leaders, but also by rank and file members of the Church. Yes, this is a pattern in many other examples. The Catholics had to learn the hard way, hopefully others will learn as well. ys pd
