Ritviks Need To Unite?

PADA: Thanks prabhu, Yes, the people who claim to be followers of Prabhupada should unite and focus on the important stuff, i.e. promoting Srila Prabhupada's statements and documents and so forth. Some folks claiming to be ritviks are instead working to stop another ritvik's program that is feeding small children. This is not a big priority issue for us, then again its not a priority for anyone else either?

Even some of the Hell's Angel motorcycle people collect food every year to feed small children, they have some sense of what is right and what is not. Thus, the people who worship Satan are not trying to stop small children from eating, meanwhile some of our so-called Prabhupada people have made that their biggest priority item. No one else wastes their lives stopping this type of program, what to speak of those spending $20 million suing the people who are feeding children as the GBC goondas are doing.

And stopping the people who are taking the GBC to court in Delhi is not helping either, we should rather help anyone who wants to legally establish that Srila Prabhupada is the acharya for ISKCON, yes that is the priority issue.

And saying that Puranjan should not have liberated documents in his newsletters like The Will, the July 9th letter, the appointment tape transcript, the 1977 conversations, the poison tape transcript etc. because "he should have been looking for a better job than driving a taxi instead" simply does not help matters either.

Instead!

We should have all been united to promote the actual relevant documents and statements that Srila Prabhupada made, and not attacking anyone who promotes these statements and documents. I have been waiting since the 1980s for people to unite on all this, and some are, some are not. I am however confident that enough folks have taken these items seriously -- so we will progress in the end. So with or without help or cooperation, we will continue. Anyway, here is a summary of some of these points we have been making over the years:

(1) I have not seen one quote so far where we cannot take initiation from a departed guru? Rather only 32 gurus are listed for 5,000 years which means people often worship a departed guru? The Ramanujas have local family gurus (who are understood to be fallible since some of them deviate) but they worship Ramanuja as their acharya. (2) I have not seen one quote so far where the books will no longer provide the divyam jnanam which destroys sins aka diksha, no other source of diksha has been identified. (3) I have not seen one quote so far where we were told to wind down the pooja because we would have no more initiated brahmanas, rather the instruction is to continue these programs. (4) I have seen no further documents past the last will (where he said only his initiated disciples can be signators on the properties for the future after he departs) and the July 9th letter, and November conversations about deputies etc. (5) The May 28th tape says there will be ritviks for initiations "in the future when I am not here" -- after I depart. (6) No alternate system has been shown, where is any other process detailed, and when will it be provided? (7) People following these directives are having successful programs, which means, this system is working, no alternate system is, because it does not exist so far. Nor have the quotes for the alternate system he ordered been provided, ever. ys pd
